Dale Gagner

CEO

Dale began his career servicing Ferrari's in 2002 and quickly became Ferrari Factory Certified. By 2009, he had achieved the rank of Ferrari Factory Certified Master Technician, a title he held exclusively in San Diego until leaving the local dealership to open his independent shop, GP Autoworks. Though no longer affiliated with Ferrari’s corporate network, Dale brings his unmatched experience and training to his clients. From 2012–2019, he also contributed to the traveling Ferrari Challenge Team, showcasing his unmatched knowledge and work ethic. When he's not working on Ferrari’s, Dale enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids.

Eric Page

CFO

Eric Page has been working in the automotive industry since 1999. He started as a Parts Advisor at a local car dealership. In 2007, he was hired as the Parts Manager for Ferrari & Maserati San Diego. He held this position until 2022, when he left to join GP Autoworks.

Eric is married with two kids and enjoys playing golf in his spare time.

Although I haven’t worked with this shop directly, I recently purchased a vehicle that had been maintained by them, and it’s clear they know exactly what they’re doing. I even gave them a call to find out which coolant they had used during the car’s last service, and they were incredibly helpful, directing me to the exact product they use despite me being across the country. I originally called another shop in San Diego that said I needed thousands in service items without ever looking at my car. Dale at GP took the time to thoroughly look over everything. After a full inspection, he found that I wasn't actually due for any servicing yet and that there was no reason to spend the money now.
That kind of honesty is incredibly rare, especially when dealing with high-end cars. They've absolutely earned my trust and my future business. When my vehicle does need a service, there's no question where l'll be taking it.
Highly recommend them to any Ferrari owner looking for knowledgeable, thorough, and most importantly, honest people to take care of their car. Five stars without hesitation.

Dale’s knowledge is exceptional—he doesn’t just fix the problem, he takes the time to explain what’s going on in a clear, straightforward way. That level of communication and transparency is something you don’t usually expect from a mechanic, and it made a big difference.

Eric in the front office was equally great to work with. He communicated quickly and clearly throughout the entire process and kept everything running smoothly.

On top of that, their pricing is very fair, especially for the level of expertise and service you’re getting.

Eric and Dale provided amazing service throughout the process from discussing different options to sending me progress pictures to checking in with me after I picked the car up. Large & clean shop, lots of cool cars there, a great shop dog, and the guys are so knowledgeable and fun to talk with. I will be a customer for life and definitely refer anyone with a Ferrari to bring their cars there.

Dale, who is one of the most knowledgeable and well-vetted independent Ferrari mechanics in San Diego, solved an issue on my 1989 Ferrari Mondial T Coupe that I had spent nearly 50 hours trying to diagnose and repair myself.

After bringing the car to Dale, he identified the ABS brake problem immediately and had it completely fixed within one day. He also took the time to clearly explain the cause of the issue and how he resolved it — something I genuinely appreciated.

I’m extremely happy with the service I received. Dale and the team are straightforward, honest, reliable, and surprisingly affordable, especially given their level of expertise with Ferrari models.
